I have received a letter from SCM solicitors about arrears on my loan account and threatening court proceedings. I lost my Job in June last year paid monthly payments out of my savings but when that ran out and still no new job I went to my bank Lloyds TSB for help. They agreed to reduce my payments to £40.00 per month. I have since securred a new job which I told the bank about and we agreed that normal regular payments would be made on the 1st May. When I received this letter I went to my bank to talk to them about this I was told it was out of their hands and would do nothing to to help me. I have tried to contact them without success. Can you advise what I should do as i do not want to incurr court costs. Lloyds are being totally unreasonable.

do you have the original agreement of lower monthly payments in writing by any chance?Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
