now bankrupt

As of 10.50 yesterday i am now bankrupt. Everything went well, didint even have to see the judge. Was a lot easier than expected couldnt belive that was it when the clerk gave me the order. Just had a call from the OR got my main interveiw next wednesday.

I just want to thank everyone on here for their help, i know i havent posted much but have spent hours reading everyones advice.

it was such a great weight off my shoulders when i walked out of court, for some reason i didnt get many phone calls from creditors yesterday. After weeks and weeks of ignoreing the calls i was looking forward to answering and telling them!

thanks again

My OH has just been discharged, but I remember all the anxious worrying before going to court, and then the relief that it wasn't that bad and it's all over, and yes that first time you can say to a creditor I'm now bankrupt was a great feeling. Even the OR call wasn't bad, he agreed with everthing my OH said, and suprisingly allowed my car loan repayments as part of our SOA which we didn't expect.
Well done, the pressure's off, and start looking forward, it was the best thing we did.
Oh and like you I haven't posted loads, but have read loads of other people's posts and threads :o
