I've just been to my local Debenhams (Bournemouth) and picked up some ELC goodies massively reduced.

A 'soccer zoomer' reduced from £12.50 to £3.75. Like a swingball - you get a base you fill with water and a soccer ball is attached to a string on it. Much better than kicking a ball against the house!!

A Dora the Explorer inflatable Palm Springs paddling pool, reduced from £15.00 to £4.50

Pack of 6 bottles of bubbles, nice ones - not cheap toy shop ones, reduced from £2.50 to 75p, these are great for party bags.

Some other items I saw were:

Bag of play balls (200 I think) for £3
Blossom Farm cot mobile for about £6
Toddler paddling pool reduced from £6.00 to £1.50
Blossom Farm play mat £6 (I think)

There were also some designer Pineapple bibs for £1.35 instead of £4.50

I went to the ELC in Debenhams Bristol and same reductions. The bubbles are a real bargain as lovely packaging and as stated would be great in party bags - I picked up 3 sets.

Also the wooden toys were mega reduced as well. Bought a lovely wooden poppy cat type abacus for £3 and a wooden stacker - good quality for the same price.

Had a lovely inflatable play house reduced from £40 to £12 but we had caught the bus so could not get it home.

Seem to have a lot of the same as previous post but well worth a visit and seemed to be cheaper than the ELC store?:T

I suspect ELC are pulling out or being kicked out for floorspace - it happened in Meadowhall a couple of years ago.

Sainsbury's did a similar thing in March/April this year. Reduced all ELC stuff by up to 75% and some of their own stuff as well - toy tractors for 29p were the best - plan to use them in the 'shoe boxes' at Christmas.

I got an excellent tool kit and workbench reduced from £40 to £12 - handy for my nephews 2nd birthday on Sunday.:j :j

I've ordered this too, I planned to get one of these for DS Christmas present. I hope I can resist, its such a bargain that I'll want to give him it when it arrives.:o
