What have you spent today Thurs 17/8?

I can't see this thread anywhere else unless my sight is failing and I have missed it

I have spent £15.62 in Sainsburys on some fresh bits and pieces for tea, some teething gel with free teething ring for little one, some yoghurts, some new oven mits and some fabric softener, a card for next door as they just had a baby girl (awww) and a paper.

  • I went to boots (big mistake) well I had to go to get tea for as I work 8:30am to 5pm then 6pm to 10pm in two jobs so need feeding. Ended up buying 2 meal deals yes not one but 2! I'm such a greedy fat cow. Then also bought 3 for 2 vitamins and got those free cooling wipes from the points machine. Feel guilty now for spending £12.34

    Nothing!
Went to the bank and lifted 40 pound cash to give to DD friends mum (she is taking DD away on holiday for a week. I wanted to give her some money for food) Mum refused to take it ,so I'm 40 pounds better off than I thought!

Nothing for me today!! :j But seeing as I only have £8 to last me until pay day (30th) unless I get some babysitting jobs then I have nothing to spend anyway. At least fridge is full and car has full tank!

    £1.50 on bus fare
£4.00 (ish) on groceries (I stuck to the list too!!)

I have helped my BF spend £4200 though....he has bought a new car! We used my cr a ppy old car as a trade in too - got £300 for it, could have knocked me down with a feather, I thought I was going to have to pay someone else to take it away!

So I am now car free which is a great relief. However I can borrow BF car when I need to. Hurrah!
