Seen this advertised on sale at Lidl week commencing Monday 17th May and at the price of £199 it seems quite a good bargain, especially as its 'Full HD' (which as I understand it means that it does not require a set-top box in order to receive Freeview channels). . But I know nothing as regards the make/manufacture and was wondering if anyone could advise if this is a reliable TV with good picture, sound etc. Any input much appreciated.

does not say it has got a digital tuner, just mentions analogue, if it has not got a digital tuner then you would still need a freeview set top box / sky / virgin etc, to pick up any channels

"Full HD" means is is capable of showing HD pictures that are 1080p from any media source, whether it's a set-top box (freeview or sky), a DVD player, computer etc . It does not mean it has a built in tuner.
