Newbie - need CC advice on what to do

    But if youre in so much debt why dont you sell your house and clear lots of it.

    Seems a pretty basic solution.
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    Appreciate the reply - if the house would sell tomorrow I would do it but in the current market, in our neck of the woods it would take a long time.

    Anyway we can't put it on the market now as we had to rent the house out for a year - we couldn't afford to let it sit empty any longer.

    It is also the only asset I have if anything happens to my husband.
    That said, if I could do anything to allieviate the worry he has over the debt, I would sell, but where do we live when his condition gets worse?

    Anyone else with suggestions as to what to say to the CC companies would be appreciated.

    Never tried it myself, but i believe you can delete your own posts. Go to edit and delete - not sure if it'ss delete the entire thread though.

    If not, you may need to sent a PM to one of the board advisors or report your post (icon at the bottom)
