Freezing gammon

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me?
Bought a gammon joint to cook, slice and freeze for when I need it.
But, looked at the back and it had already been frozen before I bought it. Is it alright to re-freeze the gammon when I've cooked it? If not, how long do you think it will last in the fridge for?
Thanks a lot, these things always confuse me!

Hi MrsKing,
If it was frozen raw you could not refreeze it raw, but as you are going to cook it, it will be fine to freeze it once.

Thanks, Pink
I decided to cook a joint for a change as I thought it would be more cost effective than the packets you buy at the supermarket. My toddler loves her ham sarnies!0
