There is nothing to incentivise anyone to work hard and earn a decent salary in this country - the more you earn, the more you are penalised. Why bother, just live off the State and you get loads more tax breaks!

I have to travel by bus as i cant afford to keep a car but i see "fake" disability claimants passing in their brand new cars, make me so angry!
This makes me so angry. :mad:How do you know they are 'fake'? Although from the outside I do not look ill, I suffer from severe ME and need a powered wheelchair to get around on the occasions I am well enough to go out. (I had to buy the powered wheelchair myself even though I am unable to propel a manual wheelchair) I have given up my higher rate mobility element of my DLA for 3 years in order to obtain a car under the motability scheme. I had to buy and pay for the hoist to be fitted to the back of the motability car so that my husband no longer has to dismantle the powered wheelchair and lift the heavy battery packs into our elderly Peugeot 205.

At the end of the 3 years the car is not mine. I can either buy it at market value, or take on another vehicle for 3 years (providing the motability scheme is not abolished) or exit the scheme entirely.

There is nothing I would like more than to be well enough to work and support myself, as I always have previously. I would love to be well enough to walk the 10 minutes to my nearest bus stop. Just thank your lucky stars you do not suffer severely from chronic illness and find yourself unfairly judged by others as I have.

And stop defence spending by pulling out of countries we have no interest in. Unless its going to impact petrol prices, food supplies, or the world cup let them sort their own problems out.

Also compulsory organ donation on the NHS. If you want free medical care you either allow them to take your organs when you die or you pay 25% of your treatment costs. That would sort out the transplant shortage and the spares could be sold off to rich americans to continue to fund the NHS.
