How do Brighthouse take their items back?

In the next few weeks I will be applying for a Debt Relief Order. Because of this my laptop which I have from Brighthouse will be taken back and the agreement with them will be cancelled by the people that do the DRO as I am not allowed to have any goods worth over £300.
I got the laptop early Feb and have paid it since then. I have missed my first payment on Saturday just gone as adviced by CAB (they said no point paying for something that will be taken away soon).
My questions is, they are calling me constantly which I am ignoring... and I will continue to do so until my DRO goes through. They will then contact me for goods back.
CAB says they may not even take the laptop back, as when I took it, it was classed as 2nd hand. So CAB are not sure they will even be able to sell it on as now its classed as 3rd hand?
Anyway I very much doubt they are going to let me keep something that they would of gotten over 1k for if I had kept it and carried on paying!!
My question is, if they do want to take it back... how will they do it? Will baliffs come to my door? Will they ask me to post it back? And does anyone know if I will have warning before hand so that I can remove everything off it and back up data?
Thanks in advance.

I have came across this before and they do send a van out to collect the goods. to save the embarrassment why don't you go into the store and hand it back.0

Its hire purchase. I have no issue giving them the item back Im just not sure I want to go in store after ignoring 50 odd phone calls over 3 days. I dont mind them coming to the door aslong as they dont act like idiots so all the neighbours can see.0

Get a receipt when they do take it backAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
