Unsure on CCJ???

Hello people,

Hope this is the right place to post this...

'The High Court Sheriffs Office' sent a bailiff round to my house a few weeks ago claiming I'd defaulted on a CCJ for unpaid rent on my old house.

I dont remember a CCJ ever being made for this debt (which they say went through court October 09) so I applied for a copy of my credit report from equifax which showed two CCJ's which I was aware of, none of these from the company who have sent the bailifs!
Iv also contacted the court which they said they used who have no record.

The company who I rented the house off are extremely unproffesional, they phonned today after receiving my letter explaining I have applied for a Debt Relief Order, please accept a lower offer, the guy on the phone said 'I hope you can afford a good f##king solicitor!'

I don't think a CCJ was ever made, if this is the case, they have no right to send a bailif into my property and take goods.

How can I find out if ther is a CCJ? It's not showing on my credit report 8/7 months after they claim it went throught court.

Thanks

Check with the Registry trust on-line. they record CCjs. Cost £8 ish.

if you did not get the paperwork, get ehe CCJs set aside.
