Beneficial Finance, where did they go?

We called up to get a final payment figure of a loan we took out last year, but all the contact numbers no longer work. The website says the branches are closed.

The loan payments are still coming out as Beneficial Finance, so someone somewhere is still getting their money.

We then tried calling the number listed as the 'backing bank' (or something along those terms) but they didn't have a clue either.

So, what to do now? Stop the direct debit and wait till they contact us?

They were part of HSBC. I think they handed them over to another arm like HFC, who still trade, I think. They might be your best bet.

Have you tried the contact number on the main page of this site?

I've just rung it and there is an automated system, but I think it says that the line is only open between 7am to 10am (although I could be wrong on this).

Hi, thanks everyone. We did eventually get a number and a consolidation figure. No idea who it was with in the end!
