The number of people unemployed in the UK rose by 53,000 to 2.51 million during the three months to March, official figures have shown.
The unemployment total is now at its highest level since December 1994."

It was just on the news. 8.2 million adults of working age are not employed. 8.2 million, the true unemployment figure rather than the fiddled government ones.0

No students over 16, stay at home mums and those retired before 65 are all included in the 8.2m.
