I thought maybe my post had seemed like a dig & you were responding - sorry about the missunderstanding - my bad
No worries hun, I didn't think it was a dig at all! xTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
theres a place were considering as a venue which is the first place in our county to have the license to hold wedding in their gardenHiya B2b,
We are planning to do this as well - however this is mainly because I want to get "married" outside, and under english law we have to be under a roof??
Havent actually researched into this, but don't believe it has to be religious in any way... you can be blessed by anyone you want!
HTH
on the website it does show a gazebo type thing but id hardly say its a roof
maybe the laws changed and you just need to find a venue like thatI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
If they have a fixed structure such as a gazebo or bandstand type arrangement then it can sometimes get a licence, but i think it has to be a permanent structure, not just a pop up gazebo type tent like you might get in your garden at home.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0

The laws on outdoor wedding are something along the lines of:
"you need to have a permanent structure with a roof in order to be licensed as a wedding ceremony venue"
The venue we've booked has a wee summer house by a pond that's licenced - I'm sooo excited - it'll be like a neighbours wedding :rotfl:0
