Andrew Collinge hair products reduced!!

My local Waitrose store has just reduced all it's stock of Andrew Collinge hair products to £1.50 :j so less than 1/2 price for shampoos, conditioners, leave-in conditioners and serums :T

Needless to say I've just stocked up with those bits I use (and will quite likely be going back for more if I like the leave-in conditioner  ). The SA didn't know for sure, but they're either changing the packaging or discontinuing the product line, so stock up quick!!

My OH and I did a not-very-controlled test shop for one month in Sainsburys and another in Waitrose because he'd always scold me for going to an expensive shop! (I usually do a combo of both supermarkets... Basics tinned tomatoes from Sainsburys for example, and much nicer quality fresh fruit and veg from Waitrose). The Waitrose month actually worked out at around the same price - but a combo is cheaper for all those Sainsburys Basics products.

See the Waitrose vouchers thread - they accept far more vouchers than Sainsburys (as far as I'm aware you have to buy the product in Sainsburys, but in Waitrose as long as they sell the product you can use the voucher), and their reductions are usually excellent :T

Another thing is that the John Lewis Partnership are one of these companies that are never knowingly undersold, which means that you'll often find branded products at the same price in Waitrose as you would in other supermarkets. I agree that their own brand produce is often more expensive than own brands elsewhere (tinned tomatoes 42p compared to Sainsburys Basics 17p), so I just don't buy these in Waitrose unless it's something I really like or need.

All in all I'm a huge Waitrose fan, and their Partnership Card gives me pretty good cashback too :j

I would love to shop in Waitrose but we don't have one local - closest is a half-hour to 40min drive away.

My comment was tongue-in-cheek - I hope you realised that! :A

I have to use Sainsburys, which is okay but not that good quality. Much better than Asda or Tesco though.

Eek - just realised that this could kick off a whole supermarket debate. Think I had better shut up!!

With all the super offers everyone finds and shares I save loads of money, so then I don't feel bad about splashing out on some of M & S's scrumptious goodies!!!
