Hi Malcindebt.
Thank you ever so much !
You are one of the kind and patient people i was actually refering to in my above post!
The capital allowance figure you quote is the one im going to use.
Your comment regarding radio hire etc being exclusively for business and so i am able to include 100% of this as an expense is excatly what i had been trying to find out . Thanks to you and others , im (at last) feeling a lot more confident.
Can i be nosey and ask how you know all this ? I wish i had the knowledge lol.
Anyhow....thanks again , i really appreciate the help you have given me.

Hi again.
I had guessed you had a load of experience in this field .
Your posts are always very "detailed" . Sometimes people explain things in SUCH depth that it just is TOO DETAILED , you know ?
People like myself read whats been wrote and it just goes right over my head lol . They forget sometimes that we are total beginners with all this !
Anyhow , i do appreciate you giving up your time to expalin things to me. The help i have received on here from everyone lately has been excellent:T
Tell me just one more quick thing...you say you recently worked for HMRC......the fact that im planning on claiming 75% business use on running costs for the taxi....would that be an acceptable % to use ? HMRC wont think im fiddling or anything will they given that its such a high % ?
Wish i knew what % other taxi drivers used.....you dont happen to know that snippet of info as well do ya? lol:D
Thanks again
