for bargain electricals in notts you have to go to watnall near eastwood. on a road called engine lane on a large industrial estate [ex moorgreen pit] on the right a gent sells brand new fridges etc that are mostly returns from argos. once a delivery has been refused by a customer ie; wrong item, slight scratch etc they are not repackaged but sold to people like this. iceland small freezer= £125 in there stores,£99 in there.

if your from notts very suprised you havnt discoverd the cattle market auction rooms. view friday for saturday auctions. last week right hand room full of brand new M+S furniture at very silly prices, quality expensive sofas + chairs from expensive manafacturers going for a song or not even selling. go with cash and removal mans number in pocket. summer hols time better as buyers on holiday!

MFI Clearance warehouse in Merry Hill . There was a 7 grand corner sofa which no joke, was 15 metres long and they wanted 400 for it. Kitchens, Applicances, everything...

Thanks Kiddy Guy...Whereabouts at Merry Hill is this? I live Solihull way, but sounds like this might be worth a visit as we are looking for a new sofa!
