Are Brokers rates better?

not being a broker or an expert in the field I hadn't really considered how much extra work a broker might have to put in or the extra cost to the lender themselves.....
guess it's how much work I want to put in/how much of a control freak/money saveer I am.
Have to say it still amazes me how bad some peoples communication skills are when dealing with a potential customer and their purchase of several hundred thousand pounds0 -
works both ways that, I'm currently "trying" to deal with a client, and getting information out of them about their circumstances is similar to extracting one's on wisdom teeth, painful, bloody and slow!I am a Mortgage Adviser

Hi MortgageMamma
here's hoping I don't fall into any of those three categories, I'm sure the other half would opt for the "painful" or "slow" options though!
I seem to have ground to a halt with everyone offering A&L 5yr fixed @5.19% which is the same as they offer online themselves and not a bad rate me thinks. Unless you know of a better/cheaper provider I think we'll be going with them. Thanks for your input

Have you looked at RBS? I think they may offer the same rate, but with a slightly lower fee. Also offer same deals to existing customersI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
