The annualcreditreport.co.uk - missing information

Hi,
I just got my free creditreport from https://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk.
However, although my loan and CC cards where correctly recorded they say there are no searches done on my file.
I know for a fact that there are searches there since i ordered the experian and equifax file a couple of months ago and the searches are from feb-june this year.
Where does annualcreditreport get their information from? Do they search all 3 credit report agencies or are they a new 4th agency?
I read in other posts on this board that other people have also had no searches on thei report when they know for a fact there has been searches.
Anyone knows how it works? If information is missing then the report is not really that useful. However, for £2.00 a month i would be more than happy to subscribe to this...but only if it works.

When I read their T's+C's I understood it that they are a new fourth CRA and by signing up to their free report you authorise them to act as your agent and obtain your file from the 3 other CRA'S.
I interpret this as they pay the £2 statutory fee x3 and give you a compiled overview of your credit history, they also get to build their own database on the cheap as very few if any companies probably report data to them at present.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
That is how i interpreted them as well. So if they buy the information from the other 3 agencies, howcome they don't compile the search results.
According to annualcreditreport i got no searches on my file and it says thats a bad thing? However, i know i have a few searches within the last 6 months.
Oh well, it was a free report i guess, but it can't substitute the real thing, at least not yet.
I also read that it leaves a footprint in your "real" credit reports. Would this be a footprint that is damaging my credit rating or one that lenders can't see?0 -

I don't think lenders can see it but it shouldn't be damaging anyway.
You are recommended to check your reports every 6 months anyway so why would it be damaging? It's a sign of responsible action.0 -
My report from them was very bare compared to those of experian and equifax.
I guess you get what you pay for (not counting the 'free trial' offers).0
