Clarke for Chancellor?

Starting to make sense, no way will the LibDems want Georgie and the Tories won't allow a LibDem to have their mits on the purse strings, what a perfect short term compromise, now 2.9 on Betfair I may just have a flutter.

zero chance in my view... too much of a maverick and anyone there will be a shortage of jobs if they have to be shared with the libdems

Cable as assistant, reads good to me and remember they got rid of Brown.

Clegg rumoured to be deputy PM, better idea would be foreign secretary, he has very good ties (and expertise) within the EC and
I am sure he would be delighted with that job 6-1 on Betfair.

Yep...Cable will be given Treasury Secretary job, but I doubt whether they will want to support Osbourne as Chancellor.

I can see the start of a beutiful friendship.
I am hoping the libs get Dave to axe Trident and replace it with an airforce provided alternative. 100 bill in savings straight away.

Over how many years is that?

100 Billion over 25 years is peanuts.
