Face to face interview with OR?

I had a Bankruptcy order sent to me today and it said to contact the OR immediately after receiving to arrange an interview in Birmingham. I thought a phone call was the standard practice?

Not always...some offices insist on a face to face interview...all depends on your case circumstances really

to a point, but the interview is going to be mon-fri and is always gouing to start between 9 and 1 to allow time for it to finish.

Loopy- did you trade prior to the bankruptcy as this is the most common reason to have a face to face interview

    no i didnt trade
I think it must be a standard thing for Birmingham as I recall a couple talking to a soliciter last week and he was saying about interviews being held in the building opposite.

Ypu really need to show willing and arrange time off work to accomodate them. It is best to get it all sorted on one go, take everything you can think of that they might want. One interview and likely it will be just dealing with correspondence for a while.

I rang them today and she said that normally we ring you and not sure why it says on my letter to call them. She then went through my notes and said they've tried to call me on my mobile - I had put on my form to phone my home number! and that a letter has been posted to me to say my OR telephone inteview will be the 11th June. Cant believe its so far away but she said they were very busy at the mo.

So no face to face interview!

Very rare unless there is a business involved. I think Liverpool used to do F2F.
