Hi,
I have had to retire for medical reasons and as such am receiving my occupational pension early (I'm 40yrs old). As this is a pension do I have to pay tax on it?

If your total income (including pension ) is greater than 6475 then you pay tax just like everyone else; however you do not pay NI on pension incomeEU tariff on agricultual product 12.2%
some dairy products 42.1% cloths 11.4%

Pensions are taxable income and your pension provider will operate PAYE similar to an employer but without NI deductions. You should verify that the tax code they say they are using is accurate.0
