miss selling halifax isa/pep homeplan

How do I complain about the above mortgage purchased in 1996. My husband and I wanted a repayment mortgage after already purchasing an endowment mortgage on a previous property and were advised by the halifax financial advisor to purchase a pep/isa homeplan.

If you wanted a repayment mortgage, why did you not go with one?

You should put your complaint into Halifax. They will check to see if the recommendation was compliant (i.e. did they compare repayment mortgage in features and costs, did they record why you chose this version etc) and then they will make a ruling.
