Anyone have any experience with JST Financial?

I'm looking for a loan, don't really want to use a high street bank and there seem to be a lot of dodgy sites out there. I can't find anything bad about JST though. So I thought I see if anyone has any experience with them.

There are no big banana skins in their general terms and conditions so they look legit at first glance.

However. They give a typical loan example with an apr of 28.1%. They also offer payday loans.
I'd say you only go with them if you are desperate. They are bottom feeders.

  • Ok, thanks for the opinion. I'll look around and just bear them in mind as a last resort. It's just that there seem to be so many of those dodgy ones that get people to pay an admin fee and then rip them off. JST do say that they don't charge an admin fee, which seems like they are more legit - I guess they just stick it to you with interest rates.

Erm, 28.1% is not exactly "cheap"
  • If you register (or attempt to) on their site, they direct you to the loan centre, pass your details on to loads of brokers and then try to charge about £30 for it.
  • Hi

I am a little desperate to get a loan, making long story short, lived in Spain for 4 years, been back in UK for 2 (74 job applications later I have a job)

£455 a month travel and 2hrs 30mins by train there and same back, add that to a 12 hr shift...knackered, PLUS I have secured another job so need to be back faster than train allows.....

Got contacted by JST Financials as I have a low credit score (and an issue with O2....THER fault and letter from them saying sorry, but my credit score still affected)

JST want me to pay them £350 IF my application for a loan is accepted, i immediately told them NO and put the phone down, was I hasty...as I REALLY need to loan to get a back to get back home quicker so i can go to my 2nd job....phew and thats the SHORT version....HELP PLEASE

I will give you a loan of £20000, to be repaid at £1 a month over 12 months. Any sums outstanding at the end of 12 months will be written off. For me to facilitate this, i need an arrangement fee of £350 paid direct to my nigerian bank account via money transfer. For this i will need your bank details. Please make sure though that you do have more than £350 in your account, as i need to buy some stuff for my 20 kids, so will want to rape your bank account for more.

Well done. You would not have seen the £350 again and there would have been no loan. Just read all the posts on here from people being similarly scammed, usually by fraudsters based in India.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
