When CSA liability ends

Sorry know this has been much discussed, just wanted to clarify that if d/d turned 19 in July 09, that CSA liability should end the Monday following the 19th birthday?
Just have written further comments to Tribunal and CSA have liability as ending Sept 09 when the child benefit must have been paid until, but I'm sure this is something else they've got wrong!

CSA ceases the Sunday following the Monday before the 19th birthday.A fairer CSA for all0

Thanks just as I thought................yet another error to add to their list, in fact think the only thing they got right in my assessment was my name at top of the paper!!!!!!!!!!0

it only continues to 19 if the child is still in full time non advanced education. if child benefit ceased in sept 09 because child was no longer in full time education the csa maintenance would also cease.0

If one usually pays CSA payments on a monthly basis, is it paid monthly in advance or arrears? If paid in arrears, would the final CSA payment be the month of their 19th birthday, or the following month after their 19th birthday if it is paid in arrears? Many thanks.0 -
The actual payments are always in arrears, so yes if you were upto date then a payment would probably still be due after the 19 biirthday .0

Thank you Febe. It looks likely that a payment would be due the month following a 'child's' 19th birthday then. Does anyone else know for sure, or has anyone else had experience of when exactly their liability stopped? Everything indicates the 'child's' 19th birthday, but as Febe states, if payments are made in arrears, it would seem likely that the payment would continue until the following month. Short of calling the CSA (reluctant to do this!), does anyone know the legal rule?
Thank you.0 -
Yes the case is , if paid in arrears it is the payment following the 19th birthday that is recognised!0

Thanks!
Just out of interest, are ALL CSA payments made in arrears? I can't find anywhere detailing this.:)0
