West ham sack manager gianfranco zola

Glad to see the back of him. Nice bloke and great footballer, but a crap manager. Results were very poor (a club record low for number of wins in a season) and the standard of football was very poor for the most part too. The Icelandics needed shooting for offering him such a long contract in the first place.
His tactics were bizarre at times and despite always saying, "we will learn from this" he made the same mistakes again and again. I'm not exactly thrilled with most of the names linked with the job now, but Zola wasn't the right man that's for sure.
I wonder if Clegg will be on the phone?;):D0 -
David Gold went to the Tesco Express in East Ham a couple of months back and saw an old woman struggling with her shopping through the snow. He asked her, "Can you manage dear?"
She replied, "And give you an excuse to sack that nice Mr Zola? Not a chance!"0 -

By the way, my tip is Dave Jones. May as well go from one debt ridden club with an idiot chairman, to a debt ridden club with 2 idiot chairmen...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
