I've also asked this before - does anyone know? I've stopped entering them as don't want to risk wasting postage on an invalid entry. Thanks to all that post.

I've got this week's TV Choice. It actually says

BY TEXT 'Text CHO21 followed by your answer, name, door number and postcode to ....'

BY POST 'write your answers to our competitions (you can enter as many as you want)) along with your name and adress on the coupon (left) and send it to ....'

SO, no clearer on the text entries (although it does say 'answer' not 'answers') but looks as though postal entry is coupon only.

ETA Just found a note in the T&Cs saying no purchase necessary - you can get a free entry coupon by sending a 1st class stamp to tvchoice, Academic House, 24-28 Oval Road, London, NW1 7DT. But at 40p it'd be cheaper to buy the mag!

competition rules: competitions are open to residents in the UK od Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over, except employees and their families of H Bauer Publishing, its printers and anyone connected with competitions. no purchase necessary. A free entry coupon can be obtained by sending a first-class stamp to : tvchoice, academic house, 24-28 oval road, london NW1 7DT. proof of posting is not accepted as proof of delivery. no responsibility accepted for entries delayed, damaged, mislaid or wrongly delivered. Illegible entries will be disqualified. one origional entry coupon allowed per envelope. prizes are drawn in order of value and awardedby drawing entries after the closing date. where relevant, no cash alternative is available. a winning entry is the first correct answer drawn, corresponding to the competition prize offered. winners will be notified by post on headed tvchoice paper and results published in a later issue of tvchoice. winners must agree to the publication of their names and photos and other publicity, if requested. in all matters concerning the competitions, the editor's decision is final. no correspondence can be entered into. entry implies acceptance of the rules.

Hello, sorry, so do you think we put for example B THE BEATLES, as the answer in texts or just B. Its just I dont know how they distinguish between comps when the answer is just a letter?

am not 100% sure but i would agree with you that if you just put the letter they wouldnt know which comp it is for so i would put the letter and answer (b the beatles)
