    I used to do competitions but stopped when I changed from working part time to full time as my sons were both in secondary school by then. I had less time so got out of the habit. I have now taken early retirement and would like to get back to doing some competitions. Is it worth looking online for competitions or is it best to do postal competitions as that's how I used to do all my competitions years ago? I would prefer to do them online but wonder is there the same chance of winning that way? If so, can anyone recommend any good sites? Many thanks.

    You've come to the best place for competitions, be they postal or online!
    The Competitions Time forum is full of competitions. You can find more information here in the Comping Guide and can ask any questions in the Competitions Discussion Thread.

    As for whether you have a better chance of winning online or by postal entries, it all seems to be the luck of the draw. I've had some lovely wins from online comps, but also had great wins from postal/text competitions. You can see people posting about their wins in the I Won I Won I Won part of the Competitions Forum.

    All you need to do is listen to Heart Breakfast on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd May between 8am-12noon and play Making a Splash . We'll play you a clip of a celebrity speaking, partly disguised by a a big splash.

    Identify the celebrity and you could be a winner!
    When we tell you to play and once you know the answer, text DORSET and your answer to 8 21 22. We'll then choose one lucky entrant at random each day and call you back to play along.

    If you can identify the celebrity correctly you'll walk away with the prize.

    Each day we'll be selecting two contestants and asking them how many creepy crawlies they can name.

    The person who states the highest number will be asked - to name them and if they can match their number they win, if they can’t the other caller will automatically grab the prize.
