    From Good Housekeeping...

Good Housekeeping are looking for the choir of the year for their annual competition to find the best group of non-professional singers in the country.
If you think you have got the best choir and have what it takes to perform at Good Housekeeping's Charity carol concert on 9th December, and will be held at Grosvenor Chapel in Mayfair, London, then get in touch!

    How to enter:

Send a recording of your choir - preferably two or three songs, but no longer than 10 minutes overall - on CD or DVD or video.
The choice of songs is up to you: you may sing classical or contemporary pieces and we encourage you to be creative, original and, most of all, to have fun.

Send your entry along with 200 words telling us about your choir - how you got together and how often you perform - to:

    Choir of the Year 2010
    Good Housekeeping
    72 Broadwick Street
    London
    W1F 9EP

    Please include full contact details.

The Good Housekeeping judges (Suzy Digby OBE, Jane Asher, Chris Craker, Jonathan Ansell & Liz Kershaw) will listen to all entries then shortlist a group of choirs who will be invited to London to perform in front of an expert panel for the final judging day on 7 October 2010. The judges will award points for skill, musicality, how you perform together as a choir and of course, the essential entertainment value.

    Rules:
The shortlisted choirs will be notified by 1 September 2010. The winning choir must be available to perform in London on 9 December 2010 for afternoon dress rehearsal and evening carol concert. No professional choirs are permitted to enter. Minimum age of entrants: 10 years. We regret recorded submissions cannot be returned. We are unable to pay related expenses relating to judgment day.. Winners must be prepared to appear in Good Housekeeping & on the https://www.allaboutyou.com website. The expert panel's decision is final.. I f you do not wish to receive offers from us, or third parties, please write 'no offers' in the top left-hand corner of your envelope.
