WOW - you could be in with the chance of a lifetime!
HARIBO, the sweet company which makes millions of treats everyday has launched a competition with animals and you to find a Little Apprentice, who will take over the factory for a day!

The lucky winner will get the chance to enter the hidden world of HARIBO, have exclusive access to the factory ( which is strictly forbidden to the general public) and find out the secrets behind its tantalising tasty sweet treats.

You will also see how the famous Starmix treats are made and taste brand new sweets that have never been seen before. As if that wasn't enough - one lucky winner will become HARIBO's official sweet taster - for a whole year!

All you have to do to enter is send us a picture of YOUR perfect sweet. It can be any shape, colour, flavour or combination and as wacky or inventive as you like. you will also need to answer the following questions:
1. What is the name of your sweet?
2. Why is it the best sweet in the world?
2. If you were a HARIBO treat, which one would you be & why?

So what are you waiting for? Get creative - paint, stick and colour until you have the worlds best sweet. this competition closes on the 31 July, any entries received after this date will not be included.

Little Apprentice 2010 - Entry Terms and Conditions

01.
To enter you must be aged between 8-13 years on the 30.07.2010 and have permission from a parent or guardian. The competition is open to residents of UK and Ireland only.

02.
Haribo will be unable to return competition entries and those entered may be used for editorial or promotional purposes, as decided by the brand.

03.
Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

04.
The winning entries will be those that, in the judges´ opinion, are of the best quality showing imagination and thought.

05. All entries must comply with the requirements on the "How to Enter" Haribo web page and have to be sent to Haribo Little Apprentices, PO BOX 1, Pontefract, West Yorkshire WF8 1WX

06.

HARIBO reserves the right to disallow access to its factory of anyone that it considers may pose a danger to themselves or others.

07.
Notwithstanding the point above, HARIBO reserves the right to disallow any participant who has not successfully completed the medical questionnaire required for the event.

08.
The judges´ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

09.
Entries must be received by 31.07.2010. Any entries received after this date will not be included in the judging.

10.
This competition is not open to employees or families of HARIBO, their agents or employees of any third party companies involved with the promotion.

11.
Winners will be notified by email or phone after 31.07.10. HARIBO will not notify unsuccessful entrants.

12.
This promotion is governed by English Law.

13.

Little Apprentice 2010 - Prize Terms and Conditions

01.
The prize on offer is the chance to spend the day at the Haribo Factory, Pontefract, making HARIBO sweets and tasting sweets that have never been tasted in this country before. One chosen winner will be a HARIBO Sweet Taster for a period of 12 months and will be sent new sweets during that period to test with friends and provide feedback, thoughts and opinions to the brand.

02.
In accordance of HARIBO agreeing to consider a submission into the competition, each entrant hereby assigns to HARIBO all copyright, design rights and any other intellectual property involved with any entry.

03.
Each entrant warrants that no entry infringes any intellectual property rights of any third party.

04.
The prize day will take place on 10.08.2010.

05.
The prize will be awarded by HARIBO to the winner´s; each winner must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

06.
For the ten winners and 1 parent/guardian, reasonable travel expenses to Pontefract from within the UK (equivalent to standard return rail fares) will be paid.

07.
The prize is not transferable and no cash or other alternative will be offered.

09.
HARIBO reserves the right to publicise the competition and winning entrants (including an individual´s name and photograph). All entrants must therefore agree to participate in any such publicity.

10.
HARIBO reserves the right to remove children or their parent / guardian or any other adult once they are on the premises.

11.
Submission of any entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes acceptance of the HARIBO terms and conditions.

13.
