Should I cash in my endowments to pay off my mortgage?

Hello,
I have a mortgage which has £11500 left to pay off and 10 years left to run. I also have two endowments totalling £14500 which have 6 years to run.
The question is should I cash in the endowments to pay off the mortgage or let the mortgage pay off naturally and earn more money on the endowments? I'm wondering what would save or earn me more during the recession. 10 years interest on the mortgage or 6 years interest on the endowments? There are no penalties on the mortgage for paying off early so I'm okay to do so if I wish.
Thanks,
Dog.

You have to do a cost analysis of the options and use reasonable assumptions (as much of it is crystal ball territory).
its impossible to really say on an internet forum as we would need to know the full details of your endowment (charges, current investment funds, alternatives available, your risk profile, your mortgage details etc).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
