BT and Wescot Credit Services

Hiya

CAN ANYONE OFFER ME ANY ADVICE?

I recieved a bill from BT (which I didn't agree with, but that's another matter) and it has now been passed to Wescot Credit.

The original BT bill was for £171.84, but the Wescot bill is for £214.80 - therefore a £42.96 admin charge.

Can they charge this much for admin? They said it's for letters, I've only had three ???????

I have spoken to Wescot and they have said that BT have charged the £42.96 and not them and said that I will have to contact BT.

Today I offered to pay Wescot the full amount plus £10 admin charges (which I think is fair) they refused to take it.

Please can anyone offer any advice? - Do I have to pay this admin charge?

Thank you
Janet

Good point. How can they charge an admin charge that's obviously never been in any signed terms and conditions. Why can't Janet charge them £20 per time she has to answer the door to them?
