Cahoot Flexible Loan
Options
I am due to come to the end of my Cahoot Flexible Loan introductory 6.9% interest term. It is due to go up to 9.1%. With an outstanding balance of £6300, this takes my monthly repayments from £128 to about £138 (not a huge amount of increase). It is a flexible loan, so there is no fixed loan period.
There are loans that I could transfer to at 5.94% over 4 years, but they significantly take my repayments up.
I have also had a look at a low interest balance transfer credit card. I would carry on paying around £130 back each month (sometimes more to shorten the loan period). I want no transfer fees, no set up fee and the lowest interest rate possible until the loan is paid off. I won't be using the card for ANYTHING else at all.
I'm after suggestions about which cards I should consider (or unsecured personal loans, if you know any cheaper ones out there).

GE Money are doing a Transformation card, currently offers 12 months 0% for bal trf (2.5% max £50). Martin recommends it on here but has said they take the pick of the bunch so if your credit record is less than perfect you might not get it. Sainsburys I believe are doing 10 months 0%. HSBC are doing a personal loan at the moment which is fixed monthly payments at 6.9% but if the loan runs to term you get 25% of the interest you've paid back, which equates to 5.3% APR after cashback. Dont know if you have to have a current a/c with them or not, but something to look into. Hope this helps a bit0
