    Need to find out what those costs are.

    At the moment you have a 0.91% differential to the SVR. This equates to £1,365 interest pa.

    If the switch costs are less than that then I think its worth it, especially because of the lack of ERC.

    Remember if base rates go up half a percent then so will your SVR, invariably it might go up by more, say 0.65%.

    What your legal fees are paying for is a favourable switch to 2.59%. I'd snap their hand off, especially with the current climate and high high chance of significantly low interest rates for the short to medium term.
