I saw an advert the other day advertising 200mins & 200texts for £12.50 per month. 'Nice one' I thought, being a DFW that £12.50 (+VAT) is damn important to me, so I thought I'd give them a call tonight.
Told them that they're offering what I've got to new customers for half the price and if I was eligable for this... suprise suprise they said 'No' because I'm not in the first 14 days or last month of my contract. I told them that I'd been a loyal customer for 6 years and that their rule is a bit harsh, but they didn't budge. What's worse is I'm only a week or two out of the 1st 14 days (contract upgrade).
'Right, fine, I'll cancel my contract then', I told them, but apparently if I do that I have to pay up the remaining 17 months which is around £400. They can damn well colour me unimpressed.
I changed my priceplan back around Xmas time and the guy who emailed me gave me the wrong quote twice too!!! (Basically he offered me a better deal for less money then said that it was a typo).
On a better note I've just put in an insurance claim with them, I've never claimed from them and my vibrating battery has bust. I could have claimed a faulty phone and got a reconditioned one from them... so I was like, nah, accidently stood on it... will be needing new phone
