As per the info given on Phil's reply - I had always had the odd small bet here or there and just told the truth, so I put down that yes I had lost possibly forty quid or so within the last year, and that didn;t cause any problems at all with the Court or the Official Receiver. I imagine that the question is only asked on the forms if you have been gambling a lot, and if that has therefore been one of the reasons for the bankruptcy. Of course the OR gets to see all your bank statements anyway, so if you have won/lost a lot in 'non-cash' bets (eg by internet or phone, direct from your bank account, rather than cash over the counter in a betting shop) then they'll find out anyway - so best to just tell the truth.
