My LBM

Hi there
Been reading this forum for a little while and had my LBM yesterday, only it was in reverse!
About 2 1/2 years ago, I realised that I couldn't bury my head in the sand much longer and addressed my debts. As my debts had all been sold, I worked out what I could afford to repay and contacted everyone and offered a monthly repayment with an option to increase should the situation arise. I was lucky as they were all accepted, I set up SO's & have been religiously paying since.
Initially it was difficult, but once I was used to it, I found that I can still have a holiday & treats, which is just as well as I had to spend a fortune on flights when my mum was ill.
Anyway, I was reading on the forum yesterday and decided to work out what my debts were and was shocked to realise, that by the time I finish paying them off in Jan 2011, I will have paid off just under £25,000. Now I am not looking for brownie points for this achievement, they were my debts & my responsibility, but believe me, I do wish I had known about this forum when I was in my deepest darkest days. The support that you give is amazing and I salute you guys.
