Moorcroft CCA request and full and final settlement

Hi ...new to this , i have few questions regarding Moorcroft after reading few online threads.I have been paying Moorcroft for few years regarding a loan with the Alliance and leicester. A&L have passed my account apparently to Moorcroft and i have been paying them every month, now i would like to make a full and final settlement offer to them but i'am not sure of the purcentage i should start with to negociate also i would like to know if i need to get the CCA from them before i start anything?
Any help would very much be appreciated as i would like to get rid of this debt once and for all.

Thanks :)

If Moorcroft are collecting the debt, you make the offer to them.

For the CCA - this is to see if the debt is enforcable or not. If the debt was taken out before 6th April 2007 then it may be - after this date it would be at the discretion of a judge to decide so probably not worth it. If you do request a copy of the CCA, read some of the threads here as it can get a little complicated.

If the CCA was unenforcable, then it would put you in a better position to have an offer accepted, but then again, if it is unenforcable then no payment would need to be made.

    Hi

I assume that you already have a default on your credit record for this account?

if you ask for the Consumer Credit Agreement and they do not have it, then you could actually stop payng, or offer a really measly sum in exchange for an F&F, because they know they are scuppered as they cannot take you to court.

If they have the CCA, you may have to pay more.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

i dont think you have understood the replys to your question you are being advised to send a cca request if they do not have it or it is unenforcable then you do not have to pay
