Blue/Red Light for Acne

I have read somewhere that red/blue light can help with problem skin. Does anyone has any experience of using it; does it really help in clearing the skin? The products that I came across were quite expensive so I am looking for any opinions from people who have used it to see whether it is worthwhile buying one.
Thanks

Suppose it really depends on what the problem is. I suffer from psoriasis which responds well to light therapy, and from rosacea which definitely doesn't. Best thing would be to ask your GP/ dermatologist.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

I've just been referred to a dermatologist for my acne and scarring and this was something I was planning to ask about as I'm unable to take most acne medications. I'll let you know if I find anything out but I don't expect it'll be for a few months.0

It's to manage breakouts/spots. What kind of light therapy do you take, if you don't mind me asking. I am thinking about the lightboxes that you buy and use at home, for example:

I don't as the Rosacea wouldn't react well to it. I think they usually use Ultra violet for psoraisisMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry.
