Roughcasting Exterior

Does anyone know of a reputable company who does roughcasting? I'm not even sure I'm using the correct terminology actually but it's to gussy up the outside of my house.

The exterior of my house is shabby to say the least and I think new roughcast and a paint job of window ledges, etc would help.

The area in question is Glasgow-ish

If you see a house(s) in your area with roughcasting (you're right, it doesn't look right when you type it :D ) that you like, why not chap the door(s) and ask who they used?

I can't imagine anyone would be offended/annoyed by this. If anything, I think they'd be chuffed to bits that a total stranger likes, and more importantly noticed, what they've done to their house.

Thanks for your replies and thanks for your pm scotsbob. I'm on the other side of Glasgow actually so might not be feasible.

Any ideas how much such a thing would cost?

I doubt even a tradesman could answer that without seeing what is required. it would depend on how many square metres need to be covered, whether it could be done with ladders or is scaffolding required? Also depends on how sound the original paintwork is, maybe filling is required etc etc.
