    Do you have neighbours with similar requirements? Parents in law get together with their neighbours each autumn and negotiate a good price as a bulk buy.

    Good plan, I like it. Not sure if they have the same supplier though. We are on with BP,who are relatively cheap at 45p a litre at the mo. I really want to see how long we can get the LPG to last, I am hoping we can get it to last over a year on the basis we will be relying on solid fuel to do the bulk of the central heating.

    The former occupiers spent 3K on uber efficient combi boilers too, which was awfully niceof them.

    Having only £2k average in savings when average salary is close to £30k (IIRC) is very low imho. But if you look at the TRULY SHOCKING average personal debt figures it's not surprising.
