Monsoon don't do special offers.....unfortunately, so if you open it the now you won't miss out on any offers.

And yes I do get a discount card but it is for work uniform AND we still have to buy it! It sort of ruins you cause when you are buying something and you are wearing it all the time then you don't want to wear it out as you wear it to work! Bit like wearing a suit going out ;-) I learnt the hard way when I started because I just bought things that I thought I would be wearing for work. Turns out when the sale starts you cannot wear that 'uniform' any more. It has to be present seasons clothes. Therefore I had spent money on clothes that I wouldn't wear again.......very unmoneysaving! Now, I make sure that I buy things that I know I will wear out of work.......if it doesn't get ruined!

Also, there is nothing worse than tags! Hate the wee blighters. The item might have actually been tagged twice as this can sometimes happen - they have untagged it and another tag has been left on. Sounds to me like the shop may have had a problem with the tagging device at the front and that is why it never went off.

Usually it is at the Managers disscretion...is that how you spell it????? :S babybimbles as to incorrectly priced garments.

Incidentally I bought a lovely pink cardigan in the sale and went to put it on this morning. They've only gone and left the security tag in! Didn't beep when I left the store though - hmmmm! :mad:

When you are next near the store take it back in with the receipt and they should remove the tag for you - had it happen to me once with a Boots baby item - tag didnt beep on way out (or in any other stores) and didnt go off when I went to get it removed even though I stood and waved it about for ages!

You don't have to use it for Staff purchases only...Also when Sale starts you should be wearing your Staff Sale T-shirt.

Have you seen how much discount we get?!?!?!?! lol.........we only get a certain amount every month to spend and it isn't that much when you take into account the price of the clothes:)

And after the sale finishes you HAVE to buy new stock which means you cannot wear the clothes you have bought:)

I got asked if I had a discount card which I answered. I wasn't disputing that fact and the fact that I use that discount. A lot of people are under the impression that you get umlimited fantastic discounts which isn't the case and I was saying this.

I am very lucky to work where I work and receive the discount BUT my job is to promote what I am selling and THAT is why we get the discount, not for our own personal use

Well I don't work instore but still get 75% discount and still don't wear the clothes...

well obviously you are not a sales assistant then cause you would have to.

Either that or you are a lovely wee man who works in the female store and don't have access to the gents gear....... ;-)

Yes after spending years dreaming of working in Monsoon purely for the discount a friend told me how much it was limited lol!

I think he may work in the offices or something cause you still get the discount but don't need to wear the clothes.....or maybe he does

Everything still left in the sale is now 70% off but remember that you only have 7 days to return sale items. And they seem to have put a few more flip flops in the sale too.
