IVA Terminated

Hi All,

I have received my Certificate of Termination of my IVA, I intend to go Bankrupt but having to raise the funds to process this, what sort of things do I need to sort out prior to going bankrupt?

Think I need to put a game plan together as the next few months could be a bit of a mare. Any advice would be greatly received, thank you.

    hi there

first things first, you need to speak to one of the debt charities, the national debtline, cccs or the cab

do you have a basic bank account? you will need to open a coop cashminder account or barclays basic account as any other account is likely to be closed the minute you go br

have a read of this thread, loads of useful info

    Hi,

Thanks for the info, I am looking at opening a new bank account in the coming weeks, just making sure I have everything in place before doing the deed as it will take a few months to raise the fees.

I will definately talk to one of the debt charities as well as its all a bit scary if I'm honest.

Once again thanks for taking the time to reply.

i know, it does seem scary....but you'll be fine
i felt like i was getting somewhere after i'd spoken to the national debtline, they were helpful and not judgemental which i was relieved about!!
