Has anyone heard of Solution Loans

Looking at my options at the moment. Trying to find a loan company that will give me a £3,500 to be repaid over 2-3 years. Unfortunately got a CCJ at the moment (good news is that it discharges in just under a year), so regular high street banks are not an option.

Stumbled upon a loan company called Solution Loans - [www.]solution-loans.co.uk. Not sure of they are legit or any good. Seen posts here from many people hit by scams (mainly brokers). Any experience advice on this loan provider would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

    One to avoid

many thanks for the heads up. New to all this and do not want to get caught out. Guessing in the current economic climate a genuine loan company for people with a bad credit history is hard to find.

You're right there; with a CCJ, forget it - you will be seen as a bad risk.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

please avoid this company they are very bad they promise you a loan amount even gaurentee it the amount what you will pay and the apr ( they tell you its already gone through so the amount is gaurentees). the sales team are lovely
DONT BE FOOLED ITS ALL A BLAG they take your money lie to you and eventally offer you a loan for half the amount with a higher montly repayment.
they will not state the loan amount on the 1st paper work but once you sigh their agreement you then deal with the customer service team. you no longer get through easily you on hold for a long long time and then hung up on if you request to speak with a senior member of that you want your money back you have to write a letter _ yes you cant even speak to a senior menber of staff- please do not fall prey to this company they do talk the talk but only you go out of pocket at the end of the day you will not get what your looking for. my letter has been sent lets see what happens

I complained to the financial ombudsman the told me I should of received a refund and they dealt with it for me.3 months later still no refund contacted the financial ombudsman today and got back to me within half hour the reply was a mistake with my address and it will be sent by fri, this has took a year to sort out. It took so long as you let it take so long.

Why did you think you would get a loan based on what a guy said on the phone. ?
  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !! AVOIDE!!
Do not even go there .
Ive just lost £139 to these !!! holes.
Offered me a loan saying it has been approved , really gave it the talk . I foolishly paid up to be then rung by a woman claiming the funds are ready i just need to pay an additional £179
    **ALARM BELLS**
Apparently this would be going towards some kind of council tax to protect themselves and the company...
I refused and saY cancel my application and issue me a refund. She agreed and said it would take me 14 days .
30 mins later i get a call from the original guy who called me asking why i refused the application , he was VERY pushy saying he would do me a favour by paying £79 and all i had to do was get the other 100 . By now i knew this was not right . I wanted to gather as much info on them as possible to report them so i said to the guy , i will try and get the other £100 i shall call you back . I have a friend who works in banking however she was still at work so unable to take my call . I call back and say i no longer want the loan and would like a refund , he gets very rude and says i just paid £79 of mine as a favour you owe me this i will not refund you! CRAZY!!
I am absolutely speachless! he gets very angry and says that a refund is out of the question . This really rubs me up the wrong way . I tell him i know its a scam and if he refuses to give me the refund i will sue him . He then says he will take me to court (lol)
    He hangs up .
My friend calls them up and the guy at first gives it the talk and then goes crazy when my friend demands a refund and tells him we are on them , We have the phone call recorded and it is SHOCKING the lengths this guy goes to HANGS UP TWICE , rude , becomes very insulting .
Hangs up and doesn't answer our calls .

Reported to my bank , Police where i received a crime reference number , reported to fraud action team who are investigating .

Please please report these !!!!ers .
3 Days before christmas , absolutely DISGUSTING!

PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME FOR ANY QUESTIONS AND ADVICE .

Chances are if you read the small print you can get your money back (minus an admin fee) by writing to them and requesting it, normally they won't accept it via phone call.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
