I thought maybe an apron/reusable shopper bag that I can print onto would be nice for them..... any ideas where i might be able to get one?

not sure of your budget, but I used Zazzle & they were very quick & we were pleased with the little baby T-shirt we got for the LO of one of our best mates

look! there's a new grandma one ! However, you can design your own more cheaply - look for a budget tote bag, then you can log in to design your own "new grandma" bag

(you could also probably get the keyrings you mentioned earlier on there too to save on P&P)

I don't know how creative you are but how about a poem or short verse on how the new baby is looking forward to having them as Grandma and Grandad

how about these, I got one with my mums name on it & she's always using it

(I found a grandad one too - more expensive though, but seller might discount for multiples (grandma etc)? Not entirely sure how you would get the "pound" coin out of it though!)
