A difficult one this, but wonder if anyone has suggestions.

I am organising a combined 80th Birthday/25th Wedding Anniversary lunch for family and friends, hopefully around 40 (age range 80 years to 8 months). Some people are coming from a distance, so I wanted to offer something interesting to do as well as a lunch.

I've been in touch with Cluny Clays who do buffet lunch with 2 hour taster sessions of various sports eg clay pigeon shooting, archery, childrens' activities, etc. Their charge is beyond my budget, but guy said he'd do some calculations and get back - still waiting.

Does anyone have any other suggestions. Not interested in hiring function hall as those coming don't really know each other well and would need some organised activity.

OOPS I've noticed typo in heading, but don't know how to correct it!!
