advice needed full and final settlement offers.

Hi this is the first time i've posted on a forum so i dont really know what im doing.

But i would be really grateful for some advice.

I'm a single mother on a low income and have been left with debt after a relationship breakdown.

I have sought advice off cab and they negociated repayments of £1 monthly to most of my creditors I have been paying this for about 18months now, and i hate having this debt hanging over my head, a family member has agreed to lend me £3000 to try and get it paid off. ive used a template and wrote letters to each company offering a full and final settlement offer etc. i just wondered if anyone has had dealing with these companies and even had f&f's accepted by them, a list of my debts and offers made are below.

some of my debts are with debt collection agencies.

heres a list of my debt

debt - offer made
mint £2285 - £705
calder/mercers/barclays £1373 - £422
c.k.edrupt&co/provident £712 - 219
natwest loan £2780 - £854
natwest credit card £886 - £273
lloydstsb £1300 - 400
o2/wescot £381 - £119

any advice would help.

I know my debt is nothing in comparasion to some people on here but i really want to get rid of it i'm only 21 and after being niave would really like a fresh start for me and my son debt free.

Thank u:)

    Hi and welcome

I would expect that some of your creditors may accept those offers, that said they may well try to hassle you to increase your offer a bit, so you may need to stand firm and just say that you cannot afford anything more.

I've no personal experience with this but good luck.
