Blasted Hotel Employer Rejected Me - And Then Advertised Same Vacancy!

I am absolutely LIVID with rage at the moment over a hotel chain who rejected me for a role I applied for - without any feedback whatsoever. And then, on the SAME day I recieved their rejection, I saw them advertising the SAME post - a receptionist role - on a jobsite!
What on earth do these employers want? Do you all think it was because I am a man and not some pretty blonde thing with nice legs and painted up dolls face? In other words, do HR depts favour females to males for reception work?
Don't you think is quite despicable the way these employers treat us jobhunters? If there weren't so many people out of work, they could not afford to be so choosy, and so would be glad of your application.
Swines!

Hardly. Employers are being beyond choosy. They want something for nothing.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
They obviously felt your skill set didnt match the job or you are over qualified or you came across as too ambitious, maybe you came across as a bit of an !!!! or they prefer females, maybe they dont employ males on a weekday, maybe they didnt want you.
They dont have to employ you just because you applied0 -
I normally stay in a hotel once a week (work) and most of the desk people are Eastern Europeans.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

OP, Let it go. Let them find some other poor mug.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Where I live, you'd not get a hotel receptionist job unless you'd worked in that type/size of hotel before - and knew how to use some software called Hotel Perfect.0

You are making rash judgements with no evidence and I'm still to find where you have been treated badley? You were not good enough in their opinion and that is all that matters and they have decided to readvertise.
Stop playing the poor me card on every thread you start.
In the past when I've hired people, I have always Googled/social-networked my candidates and I would imagine that I'm not the only one. It's worth noting that the OP uses the same user name on many forums and social networking sites (thus linking his personal details to his user name). He posts the same 'poor me' rants all over the web and to put it bluntly comes across as someone who thinks the world owes him a living. I respectfully suggest that his constant whinging might just be the reason no one wants to employ him!
BrionaIf I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0 -

It is a good idea to use differeent handles across the net,
Another trick is to use other peoples generic handles from one board for yours on another.
Linking your real life persona to an on-line one is madness unless you need to.0
