Hi Sarah,
You could always pickle beetroot or what about Chocolate Beetroot Muffins?
I chop the turnip into smallish chunks and cook in water with chopped carrot. Then drain the water off and mash the carrot and turnip together. Once mashed add a little butter. It makes a sweetish veg that children usually like. If you really think you're husband and children won't like it have a look in this thread for ideas on disguising vegetables: Any devious ideas for hiding veggies?

The mash Pink does is very tasty, we all like it here. Also, I always put turnip in my stews along with swede and carrot
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.
