Garden furniture clearance -today!

When in Birmingham store yesterday, the 'man behind the till' told me that there was a new leaflet for a big clearance of garden furniture and the like that would be out today! I asked for a copy but he said he was under strict instructions not to release until today (Wed) Will be collecting my half price camera later so will check if this clearance is any good - but for those just about to go shop - thought i'd let you know!

Hope this is correct though - only going on this man's say so!

Just been in a store in Oldbury - couldn't see any leaflets about this! Don't know whether they are not out yet or whether the bloke yesterday was having me on!! Sorry about this, does anyone who works in an Argos know any more???

Yes it's all home delivery furniture (patio sets etc). It's a single piece of paper with a yellow/red colouring.
Should of gone out this morning - that's when we put ours out anyway
"A big clearance" is a bit of a exaggeration though, it's only a dozen or so lines

I saw one of these leaflets in my Argos yesterday. One of the items was a table and four chairs for 49.99, its been in Homebase sale recently for the same price, I'm not sure but I think its blue and white striped.

I picked one up yesterday as i was in Argos anyway but as someone else has said a big clearance is going over the top.Plus there are only about 2 items that are even half price.

The £49.99 Canterbury is sold out already according to the website. So unless you can find one in your local store by ring and reserve or popping in you don't have much chance of getting this one.

The other 1/2 price was from £999.99 to £499.99!

Oh well, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread - sorry, I think I should say what I really think to that bloke in Argos for getting my (and others) hopes up like that - thought there would have been lots more bargains to be had - never mind!!!
