Picked these both up in store in Woolworths on Monday. and then forgot to post! (D'oh!)
I know it's not as great as the £4.99 memory in PCWorld a little while ago but it's still cheaper than everywhere else I've looked - especially for the Dualshock controller and especially on the High Street.
Oh yeah, and they also had some other PS2 controllers starting at £3.

In the "Outlet" section of our local Woolworths they were selling generic PS2 controllers for £1.50. I've no idea of the quality, but the price would certainly be difficult to beat.0 -
Yep, the generic controllers have gone down again from £3 to £1.50
I have two of these, and they are as good as the official ones. I highly recommend buying the generic ones!0 -
Hmm, I don't know the quality of these particular ones but my experience has led me to only buy the official controllers...
For example, I had 5 different generic controllers over a 3 month poeriod with the best of the bunch lasting 3 weeks before breaking. I finally bought an official controller which has lasted more than 6 months so far.
In this instance it really seems to be that you get what you pay for.0 -
The official ones are more expensive but well worth having, especially at a tenner each. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0
